Proper Shooting Equipment - Firearm Training, Lessons

New Shooters Only Need Their Handgun and (1) One Magazine Or Their Revolver and (1) one Speedloader.

Ammunition: - Bring a minimum of rounds in the original box or loose in pockets. When Told - remember to reload and top-off magazines during every break.

Writing Equipment - Bring a pen or pencil, a marking pen and paper. Two or three sheets of folded paper, a small notebook or A Range Handouts for note taking are fine.

Dummy Rounds - All dummy rounds will be orange plastic bullets in brass cases, with the exception of .40 caliber rounds, which are yellow. This prevents 9mm rounds from being confused with .40 caliber dummy rounds. Students are responsible for securing their dummy rounds at the end of each exercise.

  LEGAL  REQUIREMENTS  
The New Shooter must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must not have a criminal, felony record (s.) or have an outstanding warrant(s) in State of Florida or other States.

As a private investigation agency  we will run a criminal background check on you, before the assigned lesson.
The new student must be a U.S. Citizen, United States Citizen and have upon his/her possession a valid driver license or photo identification. This identification will be checked before any range activity. The New Shooter Must Have - have the proper shooting equipment to include, eyeglasses, hearing protection and have REVIEWED the SAFETY RULES contained on this website , before their lesson.
The New Shooter - is required to pay for range time for both themselves and the Firearm Instructor. The approx. range time FEE is $20.00 at Outdoor World Shooting Range or other ranges within this Broward County, Florida.

Before the initial lesson, The New Shooter will sign the Firearm Instructors “student release form
  Before Shooting:  
1. Instructors and student will determine if the Downrange Area Is Clear.” 2. Eye and Ear Protection is Required Everywhere on the Range.  3. The Instructor will describe the next drill or exercise, and the role of the shooter on each drill.

Assume that all firearms are always loaded. Treat them as such

Never point the gun at anything you are not willing to destroy

Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.

Our basic firearms safety training course is designed to give the student a working knowledge of safe firearms handling and familiarity with the laws and procedures regarding firearms ownership.

This firearms training novices students/shooters should have no problem with firearm safety, and the fundamentals of shooting.
