FIREARM INSTRUCTORS.
Our Florida firearm instructors offer this shooting course to the general public and the busy professionals. Our coaches are nationally certified law enforcement instructors.
This training is the same high quality handgun, rifle firearms training received by the city, county, state agencies. We can train you on the dates that will accommodate you.
BASIC HANDGUN & SAFETY
You will familiarize yourself with a handgun. Firearms safety is emphasized. You will become familiar with the parts and operation of a handgun.
The fundamentals of shooting are covered to include, body positions, hand grip, breath control, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, and follow-through. These are the first steps to developing consistent accuracy and proficiency.
HANDGUN - LIVE FIRE EXERCISE
This training will require the student to shoot 100 rounds of ammunition. We will cover the concepts of dry-firing, loading and unloading, malfunctions, sight alignment, trigger pull, tactical reloading and the basic movements of cover and concealment. You will practice these concepts during drills designed to sharpen your ability to efficiently and quickly engage targets at 5, 10, 15 and 20 yard. This class emphasize civilian self-defense and survival shooting situations.
BASIC PATROL RIFLE & SAFETY
You will familiarize yourself with the AR-15 rifle. Firearms safety is emphasized.
You will become familiar with the parts and operation of this type of a rifle. The fundamentals of shooting are covered to include. body positions, grip, breath control, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, and follow-through. These are the first step to developing consistent accuracy and proficiency.
PATROL RIFLE - LIVE FIRE
This training will require the student to shoot 100 rounds of ammunition. We will cover factors that affect long distance shooting, such as battle-sight-zero, wind, temperature, and altitude and ammunition.. The course will include the presentation of the cold bore shot. You will practice these concepts during drills designed to sharpen your ability to efficiently and quickly engage targets utilizing open-sights, EOT Hologram and the 3x9 Mil- Dot scope at distances of 50, 75 and 100 yards.
